* Will you marry me?

Posted on

I had news of soooooo many engagements over the festive season! How exciting!! Congratulations to you all. I'm sure there will be many more too as Valentines Day approaches.

Planning a wedding is so exciting (and stressful) so be sure to take your time and get lots of help. Remember the special day is about you both and sometimes its very hard to please everyone. You may have some difficult decisions ahead but try and enjoy the wedding planning experience as its going to be a huge part of your life for a while!

If you are interested in having some of your items handmade I would suggest booking in plenty of time. Its nice to take the time to work with the designer and come up with the perfect pieces without the pressure of running out of time.

I love working with brides and their families and its such an exciting time. I even get told some of the top secret details which is such a privilege!!

When working with brides I like to set out a time-scale ahead of the big day. We then work together to decide on the details. Once the design ideas are complete this allows me to go away and begin the process. You get to see photos of the designs and make changes along the way or if you prefer you can pop into the studio and see them through the stages. When you are 100% happy with the final pieces the final stages take place and they are then ready for delivery/collection.

Deposits are taken at the beginning to secure the design space in my diary and then you can pay in full or work out an easy payment plan to suit you. Prices are all confirmed in advance and sent over in full detail. Price changes don't usually happen unless you choose to change something which differs a lot from the original design. All price changes would be agreed in advance.

I hope this gives you an insight into working with us and I look forward to hearing from you should you choose to work with me.

I wish you all the very best with the planning

take care
